Voted one of Charlotte's top-ten attractions to visit, Discovery Place will fascinate adults and children alike. Featuring a multitude of hands-on exhibits from a three-story rainforest to a giant walkthrough model of an eyeball, this museum highlights topics ranging from life science to space exploration. Take a "ride" on a motion simulator in a space-age capsule or experience feature length films in the IMAX Dome Theatre, measuring 80 feet across and three stories high. Discovery Place is located just east of Bank of America Stadium, in downtown Charlotte.
